USER RESEARCH
User interviews with 5 participants confirmed concerns about apartment search personalization, but uncovered deeper user needs: ineffective search filters, inaccurate information and hidden cost. This underscores the need for a holistic UX approach beyond personalization.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
Conducted a competitive analysis of existing products which are Airbnb, Zillow, and Renthub. Covering worldwide and local platform
While all boast user-friendly navigation, some stand out with strong brand identities, and one prioritizes accessibility with robust features.
Zillow and Renthub fall short in accessibility, while Renthub's cluttered interface hinders user focus. Conversely, Airbnb prioritizes accessibility but caters to a niche audience with a unique user flow.
